N2  - Describe que esta investigación fue diseñada para comparar empíricamente la eficiencia de la selección asistida por marcadores (MAS) y la selección fenotípica (PS) para mejorar los rasgos cuantitativos económicamente importantes en el maíz dulce ( Zea mays L.). La selección asistida por marcadores y la PS se aplicaron a tres poblaciones base F 2: 3 (C 0 ) con el azúcar1 ( su1 ), el potenciador azucarado1 ( se1 ) o el encogido2 ( sh2) mutaciones del endospermo
